I’m Susannah McLeod, and I’d love to tell your story. Let’s get started.
Susannah McLeod, Founder
Why the name?
The name "McLeod" (pronounced mick cloud, with the emphasis on cloud) is near and dear to my heart. It’s my last name—Scottish in origin—and a gift from my dad, one of the coolest humans to ever walk the earth.

The “Creative” piece speaks to the heart of the work. Photography is personal — and I love people. I believe one of my greatest strengths is helping folks feel comfortable in front of the camera so that I can truly capture their “essence.” In addition to photography, several of our team members and I have spent years working professionally as actors, primarily in theatre. That experience shapes our creative approach to every shoot, especially when we have the joy of photographing fellow artists, theatrical productions, and live events.

In most cases, I’ll be behind the camera myself, supported by a talented team of associates for larger events and full coverage needs. Regardless of who's behind the camera, all editing and client communication goes through me personally — so you always get the same McLeod9 quality and care.
I've built a team of artists and storytellers who genuinely love what they do — and the people they photograph. Every member shares the same commitment — helping you feel at ease so we can capture something real.
